2020 SLADS Board of Directors Annual Election
Time to Vote!
This year the President and Treasurer roles are up for election as well as 5 board members at large positions. Thank you to all for submitting nominations and a special thank you to those who have accepted and are now on the Ballot.
Ballots must be received on or before 15 February 2020 via email to email@example.com or can be delivered in person at the annual meeting on 16 February 2020. You must be a current member to participate in the election, general memberships have one vote, family memberships have two. If you have not renewed your membership you still have time – memberships must be current by 15 February 2020 order to be validated and your vote counted in the election. Memberships including payments should be renewed via the SLADS website - details are available on the SLADS website.
SLADS needs your participation!
Recent SLADS newsletters have provided information on the challenges SLADS is currently facing. We need your active participation to renew our commitment to the original mission of SLADS “to foster an interest in, and greater understanding of, dressage among people in the greater St. Louis area. The programs SLADS sponsors shall be primarily educational in nature and shall offer a framework in which individuals can progress with their education and the training of their horses.” Please consider joining one of the committees that enable SLADS to fulfill this mission. The committees are truly the foundation of SLADS and are a wonderful way to obtain the volunteer hours necessary for year-end recognition!
